Little things that make you smile

So today’s post was inspired by a book I recently bought at barns and noble called 1,033 reasons to smile  which is such an adorable book! It makes me so happy, you should definitely check it out! So these are just little things that make me smile so I hope you enjoy!

Seeing the people next to you on the road singing as loud as they can. Have you ever looked beside you while driving and saw that the people next to you were rocking out?

Seeing people help other people. Giving you hope in humanity!

Peeling String Cheese. Self explanatory .

A light breeze. Eyes closed. Hair flowing.

Seeing someone you know drop something while they don’t know your looking. It just emphasizes their personality…

The minutes after you first get into bed. It makes you feel all tingly!

Seeing dogs yawn. Their noses scrunch up!

Peeling off the whole sticker in one go. The satisfaction!

Seeing someone with a baby. Cant help it!

Finishing a big book. Aaaahhhhh

Feeling fresh and clean after a shower.

Eating cookie dough. But it taste so good!

Not being able to finish telling a story because your laughing so hard at the end of it. “Then—Then the—Then the waiter”

Not burning a marshmellow over the fire The perfect golden brown!

Spinning in a spinny chair. Weeeeeee!

This Post??? I hope this post put a smile on your face and it help you remember the little things are what really make you happy! If you did happen to like like this post you should check out 1,033 reasons to smile. Sorry this post didn’t have very many pictures in it  but I hope you enjoyed it anyway! See you soon

Being organized…or at least trying

Being organized has always been hard, for everyone but recently I have really putting in an effort to organize my  life… so basically that means I’ve color organized my nail polish… okay maybe I’ve branch out a little more than that! Here are my tips to being a little more organized. I hope it helps you out!

Have a daily planner! These are so very helpful! It makes it much easier to find time to do things and actually get things done. For example when I get home the go-to thing would be to lay on my bed and watch youtube, but if my planner says “take photos for blog post” I’ll do that instead, so it’s  very helpful. Also I can’t tell you how many times someone has asked me what I was doing one day and I’d just go blank. If you have a daily planner you don’t have to stare at them with your mouth open then finally say ” I don’t know”. So when it comes to organization a daily planner is definitely an essential.

Make list. I feel kind of snazzy because I actually made a list of things I was going to talk about on here so…just saying. ANYway lists, lists just help you get things done. Don’t just make lists like grocery lists but about things like books you want to read or things you want to buy in the next year. Also in a way, list help with goal setting which is always good!

Write down everything. This  is more of a mental thing. Writing things down just sort of straightens out your mind and helps you figure out what you think about that subject. I would suggest keeping a journal or diary or for me, I have this blog!

More Organized in school

Flash Cards. Flash cards are so helpful when studying because they cover all of the types of learning, visual (seeing it), hands on (writing it), and audio (saying it out loud). From personal experience this has really helped me with test and other things.

Tip: Use colored flash cards! They help you memorize better and there way more fun!

Dividers/Folders. This has helped me out more than any other of these tips so I highly recommend this! What I do is take dividers (or folders) and I have one for each of my classes plus one for homework. If I don’t finish something I put it in the homework folder (duh Lucy) then when I do my homework  I put it in the folder that’s labeled with the class that I need to turn it into so when I get to that class I only have to worry about that folder. It sounds pretty easy, and it is, but before I’d get overwhelmed with this big pile of stuff and I’d forget that I had something for homework.

An Agenda. So I kind of already said this one but use an agenda. Personally I use my daily planner as an agenda so I don’t have to carry around to separate books so if you have a test or something write it in your planner!

So I hope you enjoyed that and you don’t think I’m a total geek! If you did happen to enjoy you can follow via. email! I will see you soon with another post!

March Favorites 2015

This month I have found several favorites so I decided to share them.

First off there’s a fake hair braid headband, I bought this a while ago but it wasn’t until recently that I actually started using it. I love it so much because you just put it on like a regular head band then you just go on with your day and it looks like you put a lot of work into your hair when you really barely did anything and lets be honest, I’m way too lazy to spend more than 5 minutes on my hair.

Another thing I’ve been loving is Covergirl+Olay depuffer concealer. I saw this in Ingrid Nilson’s November favorites video and I thought I’d give it a try. I fell in love with it. It’s very moisturizing under your eyes. I also love the metal tip, it feels really nice under your eyes especially in the morning.

This next thing is a conditioner. I’ve been trying to grow out my hair recently and Mane ‘n Tail conditioner has almost doubled the speed. Yes… I know… its horse conditioner BUT it clearly states on the back that it can be used for human use so… its okay now… right?

Harry Potter! Enough said. This has been a favorite of mine for several months. (It has definitely taken over my instagram feed)   I don’t even know how to describe how good Harry Potter actually is! J.K Rowling is such a good author its crazy. You actually feel like your with Harry, Hermione, and Ron learning spells at Hogwarts. If you haven’t read the book you siriusly need to check it out (and you also wouldn’t get the Harry Potter reference I just made)

I went on vacation recently and I wore these Vintage Inspired Classic Semi Rimless Sunglasses everywhere. I love the extra layer they add to your outfit.

Forever 21 always seems to have what your looking for. I found this green-knit shirt this month and I think its my favorite piece of clothing I’ve ever bought. Some days (pronounced; every day) you want to be comfortable but you also want to look good. This fits those days perfectly. Just the way it sits on you makes it fabu.

Another favorite of mine, also fro F21 (surprise, surprise), are these leather-ish shoes. Their not exactly leather, I’m not quite sure what material they are but I love them! They go with most outfits and were incredibly cheap for shoes that quality!

Blogging! I’ve loved blogging this month! Writing down my thoughts and sharing what I want to share, it just sort of organizes  my thoughts.

Instagram. Recently I’ve started really getting into Instagram and figuring out a theme and I’ve just found it really fun! ( a little self promo: lovealways.lucy)

What Olivia Did. Her blog is absolutely amazing!  It is definitely a favorite this month! She blogs about beauty, fashion, recipes, ect. I just really enjoy reading her blog, she was the one who inspired me to make this blog so props to her! She also has a youtube channel that she recently started and you can check this out here : What Olivia Did Youtube

Being Organized. I don’t know why but recently I’ve really been wanting to be organized. I think I’m going to do a whole other post about this soon.  I’ve been more organized in school, any activities, and just life really. By organized I mean planning things, writing things down, making list, buying dividers, using dividers, ect. It’s really helped me get things together!

And that’s it for my March favorites! I hope I didnt bore you to death and you come back next time!
